This course introduces you to the world of Intellectual Property and will give you a foundational understanding of Intellectual Property in the United States. This course introduces different types of patents, provides an overview of the patent prosecution process, and introduces trademarks.
The course is designed so that you can access and complete the lessons in any order. Each lesson includes a Knowledge Check quiz, and you are allowed to take the quizzes multiple times until you have achieved a passing score of 80% or higher.
Upon completing all of the quizzes with a passing score, you can receive a Certificate of Completion to document your competency with the content.
We recommend that you begin the course by starting with the Patent Primer lesson. This provides a broad overview of Intellectual Property and will help provide a context for the other lessons in the academy.
